Braxton Price was born and raised in Duplin County, the youngest son of a holiness minister and a nurse. Growing up in a farming community, he understands the rural way of life and how important real estate is to that way of life. After attending Wallace Rose Hill High School, Braxton attended seminary in Greenville, SC. He completed his B.A. in Religion at Campbell University's Divinity School, concentrating the majority of his studies on philosophy.
Braxton earned the degree of Juris Doctor from the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University. While studying law at Campbell, Braxton was a member of the staff of the Law Review. After graduation, Braxton became an associate at the Wilmington firm of Clark, Newton, Evans & Bryan, where he practiced Admiralty law and general civil litigation until relocating back home to serve the people of Duplin County
